Residents and invited guests catch an early glimpse of the celebrated Italian street artist’s latest collection

Continuum, South Florida’s premier resort-style oceanfront condominium residences, gave its residents and invited guests an early look at what the best of the European art world has to offer on Monday, December 2nd, with an exclusive presentation of original work by the acclaimed Italian street artist, Paolo de Cuarto.  The exclusive exhibit was curated and presented by Rudolf Budja Gallery in Miami Beach, as part of the annual preview for Continuum residents to mark the start of Miami Art Week.

The North Tower at Continuum and Rudolf Budja Gallery partnered for its annual pre-Basel showcase, attended by residents, collectors and international art aficionados. The latest collection of original works by the Italian street artist were unveiled at a pre-event champagne reception at the Continuum, hosted by The North Tower Association, to celebrate the opening of the property’s 2019/2020 seasonal exhibit.  Residents and invited guests had an opportunity to meet the artist at the Continuum before being transported to Rudolf Budja Gallery for signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Select pieces of art from the collection by Paolo de Cuarto will be on display in the common areas of the Continuum’s North Tower for the next two months.

“We are delighted to welcome back our residents and guests for the season ahead, with our annual Miami Art Week preview to commemorate the beginning of this year’s cultural celebration,” says Rishi Idnani, Managing Director of Continuum. “This extraordinary collection of work by Paolo de Cuarto, presented by Rudolf Budja Gallery, provides our residents with a unique perspective on one of Europe’s most accomplished street artists.  We always like to surprise our residents and invited guests with a unique and unusual experience within our North Tower lobby—presenting a collection that no other community is able to offer.”

Contemporary artist Paolo De Cuarto was born in Catanzaro, Italy in 1972. He was the fourth of five sons (from here the pseudonym of De Cuarto).  The first steps of his instruction took place in Calabria, where he began his research over the use of material and of the plasticity of the image. In 1994 De Cuarto moved to Milan, becoming involved with the artistic scenery of the Academy of Brera and the historical Bar Jamaica. He then begins to refine his passion for all artistic forms of expression and moves to Spain where he remains for three years. After returning to Milan at the start of the new millennium, Paolo began to collaborate as an artistic assistant in the studio of Master Mimmo Rotella.
