Geri Menaged, of Couture Faux Arts, is an important and acclaimed artist and designer with an incredible eye for beauty and grace. She can often be found enhancing and embellishing homes near and far. With over 20 years of experience doing decorative/Venetian plaster jobs, it’s safe to say she’s an expert in wall finishes and murals. She has built up a decorative arts and design business with hopes of making other peoples’ dwelling places look and feel more beautiful. Her extensive repertoire includes hundreds of unique finishes both subtle and dazzling. She uses materials from gold leaf to lacquer, to Venetian plaster, which is a wall and ceiling finish consisting of plaster mixed with marble dust. Geri Menaged transforms simple walls to shimmer with depth and elegance in such a way that is truly outstanding. Her unique approach to art is a pleasure to view and this is due to the fact that her works are usually constructed by an impressive abundance of layers and depth in anything she creates. It’s almost poetic to see just how much thought and precision go into just one of her works.

In 1993, Geri Menaged began her training in faux finishes at Isabel O’Neil Studio Workshop in New York City. Since then, she has cultivated a unique style by applying age-old techniques with a modern flair. Her passion for design has led her to start up her own exquisite business, Couture Faux Arts. Geri works with clients and decorators in the New York metropolitan area to bring their visions to life. With her talent, drive and a wide range of skills, Geri can customize any furniture or interior. She can even incorporate it with technology if someone wanted a more modern feel to their home, where this would entail things like video wall setups with specialized digital screens for video wall hardware so that they can display art, pictures, videos, and pretty much anything as a projection on the walls of their home.
