Meet Bianca Romero:  a versatile and talented New York-based classically trained, yet modern painter, art exhibition curator, and marketing expert. Her work, no matter what medium she chooses, can only be described as nothing short of sheer genius. Bianca has been experimenting with abstract art and acrylic paint and mixed media prints along with a medley of unusual materials for a daring multi-media style. Her exceptional approach to art, with her interesting choice of materials and flare, is a pleasure to observe. She is an artist who does not fear change or modernism. She understands how to pay great attention to detail when it comes to creating a piece of artwork. The effort and time that Bianca puts into every one of her paintings are unbelievable. She has a full mind of ideas and self-expressions like no other. Her artwork is known for turning heads with her display of mixed media artwork. Bianca’s multimedia art is made of acrylic and print collage on canvas and consists of a slew of interesting materials for a unique texture and a vibrant and striking visual appearance. Romero is an artist in every sense of the word.

Taking on experiential marketing in the entertainment industry, on her own, she created Defiant Entertainment. Focusing on talent marketing and branding, she immediately fell in love with event production, talent management, social media promotions, and strategically building creative brands for up and coming artists in New York City. The University of New Hampshire graduate offers an eclectic range of skill sets. From painting, graphic design, talent branding, event marketing and production, she’s constantly seeking ways to merge art with all facets of her work and collaborate with innovative people. Art plays a heavy role in her life, as she grew up in an artistic environment and her mixed media art has been heavily influenced by the visual contrasts and textures of New York City.  She grew up in a creative environment with parents who were a fashion designer and a graphic designer, who have greatly influenced her creative journey. Bianca has also been known for her repeating themes that are derived from influences from street artists and the street art style.

Bianca is a New York City-based multidisciplinary artist focused on Mixed Media art. She uses print collage and paints simultaneously as a visual contrast between bold mixed patterns and blended colors which were influenced by her upbringing, growing up in both east village New York City and suburbia Connecticut. Heavily influenced by urban street art and matters of the mind, her style is bold in colors and explores expressions of raw human emotion. Raised by a graphic designer and fashion designer, art has always played an integral role in her life, beginning at a very young age. Today she strives to merge her creative side and artist abilities into all facets of her life.

“I’ve always been drawn to visual contrasts, and I let that lead me. I usually start by spending time looking through piles of magazines and newspapers and seeing what objects, patterns, colors, typography catches my attention and I work from there. I usually have a general concept and color in mind that I want to start with. I never start a painting knowing exactly what it’s going to be, and I let the process and the prints I have guide me. As I get further along, it can get really tedious at times looking for an exact color, print or patterns”
