Meet Myles Beecher-Pimental: an extremely talented American visual artist, poet, entrepreneur and model, who is constantly striving to push limits with his art and originality. His work is Neo expressionists which also has a mathematical equation he uses around his subjects in his paintings, symbolizing the Ora or the numerology of the person. Myles has also shown in various locations all around the country. His part time job is his modeling career, where he is flown all over the world to represent brands, which is just a side gig but his true passion is his art.

Known for re-appropriating gender-specific utilitarian objects that have, according to the artist, reached their ultimate design, Myles. The intended object’s function elevates to art. The form is constant. The work is removed from its intended purpose to highlight the timeless and ageless design that is art. Myles has begun work on a new series,
“Hellish Hymns of Amphetamine Heaven,” made in London in March 2016. This mix also includes work created from April-August 2016 in Istanbul, Athens, and the Cyclades islands of Greece. London, juxtaposing nature used as a vehicle for a painterly aesthetic while expressing a juxtaposition of the duality of our nature, specifically between order and chaos, while positioning my voice to show the importance keeping a wildness within our human condition. Using reflections as a vehicle to a painterly aesthetic. , exploring the second phase of pop art that originated in London, washing out a peanut M&M package into a Painterly aesthetic. One of Myles’ styles is “Picasso of the Readymades,” in the sense of aesthetics exist in the real world that resemble Picasso like figures. It is not only the readymade found object, but he’s added the effect of motion to create a painterly aesthetic, from both profiles you can see a Picasso like figure with a relationship to African and other ethnic tribal art and masks, that of which Picasso was inspired from: a kind of neo expressionism influence.

Myles incorporates ideas into his art, referred to as “superflat” that he had appropriated from world-renown artists, Takashi Murakami and John Baldessari. In this image the landscape is merged with the plant, along the same lines of a relationship between nature and mankind, thus as the landscape merges with the tree the three dimensional distance is eliminated into a texture resembling that of the cubists, becoming superflat on the pictorial Plane. Myles also experiments with using TV’s as a medium. There’s something about the intensity of colors and brightness of the hues on TV’s and screens that when you use glass to filter it, or just as a medium in general, the colors always come out really strong and beautiful. He cleverly uses a zoom lens to pop out the tv into the 3rd dimension, sometimes creating new figures that could resemble new, sort of hidden, characters within the movie show or program being watched.

“I’ve stayed away from including people in my work… until recently in Athens, where everything changed. I felt that I have discovered, established, and secured my aesthetic voice, and synchronistically have stumbled into circumstances with people and jobs that led me to explore my aesthetics in the context of fashion and friendships.
