The Oliver Gal Artist Co. is excited to announce the opening of its new pop-up art shop this winter. The Oliver Gal pop-up gallery is the brainchild of Lola Sánchez & Ana Sánchez Gal, the sisters and artists who founded the company.
Pop-up shops like these are a great way for companies to make a quick profit, especially over the festive period. Many pop up shops do so well that they decide to open their own full-time shop in an attempt to capitalize on the popularity. If you have a successful pop-up shop and are thinking of opening your own store then make sure you think about every detail before committing. Make sure that you compare business energy prices, look for a way to spend less money on equipment and find ways to maximise your profits. Anything to save yourself money will be a benefit to you.
Slated to open on November 1st through December 29th, the pop-up shop will remain open for two months on NW 2nd Ave in the art-friendly district of Wynwood. Coinciding with the shop’s launch, a variety of art-focused events will take place throughout November and December.
The shop will feature original, limited-edition Oliver Gal pieces, including collaborative artwork created using mixed media techniques—many of which have never been seen before. “We wanted to launch an innovative movement within our local art market,” Lola says. “These are truly one-of-a-kind creations.”
The pop-up gallery will be featured at the same time as Art Basel, the annual art exhibition and cultural mecca held in Miami. Art Basel showcases modern and contemporary art for a global audience of collectors, museum curators and art aficionados, making it the ideal platform for Oliver Gal’s unique works.
The sisters describe the team’s art as “industrial chic.” The pieces blend urban and abstract motifs, making them well-suited to contemporary spaces. “They are timeless pieces with a modern edge,” Lola says.
About Oliver Gal
Based in Miami, Florida, the Oliver Gal Artist Co. is a lifestyle and artwork brand spearheaded by Lola Sánchez and Ana Sánchez Gal. The sisters were inspired by the Miami art scene, and by photography from their travels through Spain, Italy, St. Lucia, China, Israel, and Africa. Oliver Gal’s collective of artists hand-crafts avant-garde pieces spanning all styles and eras, featuring airy images, pop culture themes, and striking layers of color. Many of the pieces are limited-edition and exclusive to Oliver Gal.
“Our artists use only the finest materials to bring their innovative visions to life,” Ana says. “Their work exudes unpretentious elegance, transforming blank walls into grand-scale, high-style canvasses.”
