Meet Miami’s very own @StrykerTheCat: the legendary internet sensation was actually saved from a cage. Eventually, this cat’s owners, Shlomo and Joe began regularly posting photos of Stryker on Instagram, under the handle @StrykerTheCat, with witty captions and clever photography. Since then, Stryker has gained the hearts of a staggering 70 thousand followers and each of the photos have received thousands of Instagram likes.

Stryker is a “serval”, which is native to the African grasslands typically found south of the Sahara Desert. The cat has a lean body and the longest legs and largest ears of any cat breed. Servals have coats predominantly shades of tan or orange with black or dark brown markings. The coat pattern helps the cat disguise itself when hunting in tall grasses. The serval is a solitary animal that can live around 20 years. Ancient Egyptians worshiped the serval for its grace and power.

As time goes on Stryker will continue to build his brands and develop more creative projects and ideas. I for one am looking forward to seeing what he does next!
