Sir Ivan is known to throw some epic parties that a lot of people enjoy, but last weekend Sir Ivan ripped open a creative way with his charity event and making sure his guests were fulfilled with a positive message
In the battle against bullying, Sir Ivan and The Peaceman Foundation have donated more than $200,000 to 10 non-profit organizations that includes the It Gets Better Project, Gay, Lesbian & Straight Educational Network GLSEN, Born This Way Foundation, Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center, Parents & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG), Stomp Out Bullying, Campus Pride, Love is Louder, The Jed Foundation, Anti–Defamation League and Trevor Project.
The music video for “Kiss All The Bullies Goodbye” was directed by MTV and BET award director Erik White, with net proceeds from video views, song streams ,and downloads will be donated to anti-bullying initiatives.
Sir Ivan’s theme for this event was “Village People.”
DJ Sin Morera kept the event pumping all night long, with a five hour set accompanied by 28 world class dancers from Stepping Out Studios.
Finally, when Sir Ivan had shown up, he came out there in a blazing leather biker cape which was adorned with a giant Swarovski peace sign, solidifying his role as a peacemaker. He than got the crowd revamped and “hyped” while he performed his latest song “Kiss All The Bullies Goodbye.”
Special guests included singer Pras from The Fugees, singer Aaron Paul, grandson of Omar Sharif and LGBT activist, Omar Sharif Jr., journalist Michael Musto, CNN’s Maribel Aber and Midwin Charles, Good Morning America’s Relationship Expert, Donna Barnes, TV host Lucy Norris, Marc Leder, Co-CEO at Sun Capital Partners, Film producer/director, Cedric Hill, celebrity stylist Cesar Gaviria, celebrity groomer, Fran Freeman, androgynous model Rain Dove, Calvin Klein model Harmony Boucher, “Orange is the New Black” actress Farrah Krenek, actor Colin Asercion, and The Village People’s former “Cowboy” himself Randy Jones.
