Continuum on South Beach, The North Tower, a South Florida premier resort-style oceanfront condominium residencies, treated its residents and guests to an invitation-only showcase of the most exclusive works and private collection by the Rudolf Budja Gallery in Miami Beach, as part of an intimate nineteen eighties themed evening of pop art and abstract expressionism in the renowned “South of Fifth” neighborhood.

Continuum on South Beach, The North Tower, and Rudolf Budja Gallery partnered for an exclusive “Relive Studio 54 Experience” within the property’s North Tower that took place on Saturday, December 2nd. A who’s who of South Florida’s business leaders, residents, collectors, and international art aficionados enjoyed especially selected pieces from the private collection of Rudolf Budja, including original expressionist portraits of Liza Minnelli and Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol, as well as popular artworks by famed American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.

“Our extraordinary eighties club experience was the perfect way for our residents and guests to celebrate the start of Miami Art Week,” says Keith Marks, President of the Continuum South Beach, The North Tower Association. “The private collection by Rudolf Budja Gallery presented some of the most acclaimed works by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichenstein throughout our lobby area and a special guest appearance by Marilyn Monroe and Diana Ross look-alikes made our Studio 54 eighties night go viral on social media. Our event will mark the first of an annual celebration of art and culture to commemorate the start of this seasonal festive period that our residents returning to South Florida always enjoy each year.”

The event included a live DJ performance; as well Marilyn Monroe and Diana Ross look-alikes that became a highlight of the evening on social media, as guests relived the most popular eighties club night. Bill Hansen provided passed hors-d’oeuvres and guests also enjoyed an authentic Cuban Cigar roller throughout the evening.
