Meet Raquel Sabz: one of the most fascinating and influential people in New York. Miss Sabz has taken social media and the fashion world by storm with her innovative style and incredible eye for design. Brooklyn born and raised, she has always had an innate passion for style and fashion. Brought up by both a skilled clothing designer as well as a party planner, Raquel was surrounded by a sea of talent who inspired, but more importantly encouraged, her to find her niche.
Diving through her mom’s clothes and grandmother’s eclectic vintage pieces, Raquel uncovered her own artistic expression. A few years back when the recession hit and shopping was no longer that simple, as a student she realized she had to stretch her dollar further. Raquel began to explore the wide variety of clothing stores at her fingertips and sent lists of her fabulous finds to her family and friends.
Encouraged to start up a blog, Raquel jumped at the opportunity. She currently uses RichGirlOnABudget as a means through which to share her ideas of maintaining the chic, clean cut look, within a student friendly budget. The fashion blog was a breakaway success and now Raquel can hardly go out anywhere in her hometown of Brooklyn without being spotted out and recognized by her thousands of fashionista fans.
Miss Sabz is also a social media sensation on all aspects, she has many different accounts on completely different topics: one of them being @UrHealthIsWealth, where she posts photos of her delicious and healthy meals that she artistically prepares and explains in depth on her journey of striving for a clean-eating lifestyle. To top it off: she also is a skilled painter! Selling out her acrylic on canvas artwork at exhibitions for charity events like the FARM event for Safe Foundation this past summer in Deal New Jersey among other local exhibitions.
The depth of Raquel Sabz is never-ending: from her artistic skills to her comedic genius and her social media domination. Whilst others may need to go to the TikTokPalace website to get started, she needs no extra help. Raquel is one of the most incredibly fascinating human beings I’ve met in my lifetime and continues to surprise me with all of her creative endeavors. She is also constantly being asked by photographers, makeup artists and stylists to collaborate on projects and photoshoots because they know that not only is she a semi-celebrity but she also takes risks and is fearless when it comes to switching up her look and style. She knows how to keep relevant by always presenting new content and she is smart about networking and promoting other creatives: they usually are a fan of her work and she usually is a fan of their’s too.
Raquel also has one of the coolest families ever: she has the sweetest Persian family, each member being more of a friendly and comedic character than the next. One of her brothers, Sonny, better known by his DJ and music producing name @Sonny5ideUp is now a credible “meme king” having close to a staggering two hundred thousand followers on his Instagram account alone. Sony is also a social media marketing connoisseur, being hired by other companies to help with their social media and marketing presence. Comedic genius traits run in the Sabzehroo family’s DNA along with being ambitious, successful and loved by their community and friends. Having personally grown up with each member of this clan has not only been a delight, it’s been a privilege and continues to be a constant learning experience.
