Street food from exotic locales such as Peru, Vietnam and Barcelona converge at the new restaurant VANDAL, located in New York, NY and founded by TAO Group in collaboration with Rockwell Group.  The restaurant is a two-story bar and lounge, decorated with pieces by various street artists.

Chefs Chris Santos and Jonathan Kavourakis traveled to 14 different countries in preparation for the menu, in order to sample and select their favorite street food dishes to be featured in the restaurant.

Architecture was another aspect that was carefully thought out.  With private rooms, secret catacombs and various art installations, VANDALS is sure to leave its guests awestruck and full of amusement.  The entrance features an 11-foot tall rabbit that breakdances.  If that isn’t unexpected at a restaurant, then we don’t know what is.

With the help of UK-based artist HUSH and other well-known street artists, this restaurant, which is part art museum, part extraordinary dining experience, is a must see.
