MIAMI SWIM WEEK 2016: LEE + LANI TAKE MIAMI!

Miami’s temperature is on the rise with the arrival of the hottest swimwear designers from all over the world for Miami Swim Week 2016. Los Angeles-based designer-duo Lisa-Marie Pascuccio “Lee” and Alana Ault “Lani” of   Lee + Lani are two of them. Commanding the catwalk with their bold, unique, and artistic designs, one would think the L.A. designers were natives of the Art Deco area of South Beach. Debuting their SS17 Swim Collection on Friday, July 15^th, 2016, Lee + Lani is known for their forward thinking sense of design and their dedication to providing quality, versatility, and an unabashed sexiness in their pieces. By using rich, luxurious fabrics and custom Lee + Lani prints imported from Italy to ensure the quality and uniqueness of each design, the brand has created a worldwide cult following from the glamorous LA poolside socials to the sandy beaches of Miami.

Hosted by Funkshion Productions on Miami Beach, The SS17 Collection featured four different luxury design capsules, truly mirroring the designers love for livable art. These capsule collection collaborations included: LNA Collaboration which featured classic colors with flattering 90’s swimwear cut, Je T’aime consisting of jaw-dropping risqué design lines fitted with French Chantelle lace accents, Mojave, elevating the Lee + Lani power mesh sensation appliqué to a new level with intricate asymmetrical and geometric layouts, and At The Disco, inspired by crop circles, a visually mesmerizing and naturally unexplained mystery.

On top of the collaboration collections they create for retail partners such as Revolve, Nasty Gal and PacSun, every season Lee + Lani produce multiple micro capsule collections to provide the ultimate selection for their diverse customer base. Last season alone they produced over 90 unique styles. With a vision to create the future of swim, Lee + Lani are focused on forecasting the top trends for 2017 and identifying the next up and coming taste makers in the swim industry.
