Meet the exceptionally creative photographer, Maya Shlomo. She is a talented and important New York-based photographer who has been dominating the photography scenes of New York and New Jersey. Her works have been recognized by art curators and event planners all over Brooklyn, New York City, and Deal New Jersey. She specializes in event photography as well as portraits and family photos. In addition, Maya’s work has also been honored and displayed in various art exhibitions and this is just the beginning of the young photographer’s journey. Her unique approach to photography is a pleasure to look at or watch and this is due to the fact that Maya’s works are usually constructed by an impressive abundance of layers and depth in anything that she uploads or publishes.

Having personally worked with Maya before, it’s almost poetic to see just how many photos and angles she takes in order to capture just one or two chosen pictures. She consistently pays significant attention to every detail for any photo that she publishes or releases. Her photos have been making waves in the blogosphere with appearances and shout-outs all over social media platforms and blogs. Over time, she has developed quite an artistic eye and is steadily building up her portfolio and client base.  When observing Maya’s work, it is clear that she understands the underlying principles of what makes for a good quality photograph. Her photos are captured in a beautifully unconventional way, with great attention paid to detail and composition.

This past month, in Deal New Jersey, Maya displayed her masterpieces of printed and framed photographs at an art exhibition for one of the biggest charity events of the summer. The Safe Foundation organized an arts festival: a night of performance and art on the beach. Bonfires were scattered all around the beach where people sipped on coconuts and ate barbecue while enjoying live performance acts, which included poetry, comedy, and music. Tents were up, displaying an eclectic art exhibition of 40 art pieces by young artists in the community. A live auction was held for the art and proceeds of the art went to the Safe Foundation. The event was a total hit, hosting close to 700 people and spreading the movement of promoting clean and healthy lifestyles for our community. These creative events are thrown for our community members to enjoy being all together as well as show off their talents through performance and art. The events are alcohol-free and are part of a movement, which encourages our community to have safe and healthy lifestyles that demonstrate how they can have fun without the use of alcohol.

The contemporary art world is vibrant and booming like never before and it’s a twenty-first-century phenomenon, a global industry in its own right. Contemporary artists seek the power to astonish, challenge and surprise: Maya’s photographs achieve and go beyond all of these things. She showcases artwork and photography that the public may not ordinarily have access to outside of a large urban environment within a welcoming, creative, and inspirational platform. As time goes on Maya will continue to delve deeper into the world of photography and film as a skilled professional by utilizing a wide range of mediums and taking an intimate approach to art direction and design. We all are looking forward to seeing what Maya accomplishes next with her influential style!
